Hi! My name is Sophie Menyhart, and I am a '27 from Barnstable, Massachusetts. Alongside my academic commitment to the pre-health track, I am a double major in Biological and Psychological Sciences. On campus, I am a member of the Varsity Sailing Team, which has also led to my role as a representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. I am also an active member of the Eta Xi chapter of Kappa Delta sorority, through which I have helped serve our immediate Upper Valley community, including supporting David's House, which is an extension program of DHMC. I have participated in the shadowing program at DHMC through the Nathan Smith Society on campus, and I am looking forward to my off-term this upcoming winter, for which I am currently applying to work as a volunteer at a Boston-based hospital. In my free time, I love taking advantage of my surroundings, whether that is skiing, hiking, getting on/in the water (river, lake, and ocean included) whenever possible, or simply enjoying the company of my friends on campus.
