YOU’RE INVITED! WRITING FOR THE APPLICATION WORKSHOPS FOR MED/VET/DENTAL SCHOOL!

It is time to prepare for writing your application for medical (MD/DO), dental, or veterinary school. You have worked hard for many years and writing your application is your opportunity to summarize in your own voice all that you have done and accomplished to get to this point, as well as your motivations and aspirations.

In this workshop, we will address the following:

  • Clarify what will be asked for on each section of your primary application for each application service (AMCAS, AACOMAS, TMDSAS, AADSAS, & VMCAS), including character count and content.
  • Focus on how to get organized and get started on writing your work/activities.
  • Get feedback on what makes an effective activity statement and how to best utilize the limited space you’ll have.
  • Share important tips about how to collect and reflect on your experiences, maximize your character count, and write a great application in terms of style and content.
  • Discuss what to anticipate for secondary applications.
