Ramsey Ash ‘24
Biography
Hi! My name is Ramsey Ash, and I am a '24 from Huntington, WV. I graduated from Dartmouth earlier this year with a double major in Quantitative Social Science (QSS) and Music. This year, I am excited to have extended my stay at Dartmouth and am working as a post-bacc researcher in the anthropology department, continuing the work I started with my QSS thesis! As an undergrad, I participated in the Global Health Fellowship, and the Eichler '57 Fellowship for Healthcare Leaders, and maintained an active role in performing arts groups including the Wind Ensemble & Clarinet Choir. In addition to my work as a QSS thesis writer and my current role in research, at Dartmouth, I conducted research in the Moen Lab at Geisel's QBS department and worked on a personal project related to healthcare network vulnerabilities and time to treatment initiation in breast cancer patients. In my time at Dartmouth, I was fortunate to study and work abroad twice, in London (Music FSP) and Hanoi (Dickey Center Global Health Internship), and am really passionate about highlighting that pre-health students CAN study abroad! Outside of school and work, I am extremely passionate about vegetarian cooking, finding new hikes and runs in the Upper Valley, and making/listening to new music! I am very excited to be a pre-health mentor again this year, and am open to discussing any of my experiences, and more!
