Hi everyone! My name is Olivia Colbert, and I am a ‘27 from New York City. I’m double-majoring in Biology (Genetics) and Native American Studies. On campus, I’m involved with Dartmouth EMS, the Dartmouth Undergraduate Biology Society, Health Access for All, and the Nathan Smith Society. I also work as a tour guide and reception area assistant for the admissions department. In terms of research, I work in the Ayres Lab, studying the effects of emerald ash borer on forest health by analyzing leaf litter and invertebrates, and I also work in the Landino Lab at The Geisel School of Medicine, where I study cell cortex dynamics. Outside of academics, I love running, traveling, and playing pickleball on the weekends with my friends. I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone this year.
