Marit Uyham ‘27
Biography
Hi! My name is Marit UyHam, and I am a '27 from Atlanta, GA. At Dartmouth, I am a biology major (with a concentration in human biology) and a chemistry minor. I have also taken several classes in each of the computer science, psychology, and ASCL departments! This past year, I have worked in the Goods Lab in the Thayer School of Engineering, where I have helped analyze RNA-sequencing datasets that provide insight into ovulation dynamics in mice. I will be starting a research internship in the Curiel Lab at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) this fall. I am also a mentor for the Women in Science Program. When I am at home, I volunteer as a Spanish interpreter at a local food pantry, and I also have a certificate of training in medical interpretation. Some of my favorite classes at Dartmouth have been endocrinology, immunology, environmental chemistry, and introductory Japanese! Please feel free to reach out with any questions; I am so excited to meet everyone this fall!
