Hi! My name is Marit UyHam, and I am a '27 from Atlanta, GA. At Dartmouth, I am a biology major (with a concentration in human biology) and a chemistry minor. I have also taken several classes in each of the Spanish, psychology, and ASCL departments! 

For the last year, I have worked in immunology research in the Curiel Lab at DHMC; it has been such a wonderful opportunity to learn new wet lab techniques, such as tissue culture and flow cytometry. When I am at home, I volunteer as a Spanish interpreter at a local food pantry, and I also have a certificate of training in medical interpretation. Some of my favorite classes at Dartmouth have been endocrinology, immunology, biochemistry, environmental chemistry, and introductory Japanese!
