Biography
Hi! My name is Jivan, and I'm a '25. Having spent most of my life in San Diego, I'm proud to call Southern California home and love a sunny day on the beach or out on the water. You can find me watching sports at pretty much all hours of the day. I especially love playing and watching soccer, but I am always game to try a new sport.
I'm majoring in Economics on the Development track, but have been in and around the pre-medical community throughout my time here! In addition to being a pre-health peer mentor, I am a member of the Nathan Smith Society (NSS) Shadowing Program here and in Greek life. For the past few years, I have been working on substance abuse research with Dr. Alan Budney at Geisel, and I have gotten opportunities to publish and present clinical and orthopedic research that I work on at Rady Children's Hospital and UCSD in San Diego. I'm also applying to medical school this cycle. I look forward to meeting all of you this year!
