Hannah Maccarone ‘26

Biography

Hi! My name is Hannah Maccarone, and I am a '26! I am from Eagan, Minnesota, and I absolutely love the Midwest. At Dartmouth, I am a psychology major and anthropology minor. On campus, I have worked in the Social Identity & Dialogue (SID) Lab in the Psychological and Brain Sciences Department since my sophomore year, and I absolutely love being able to apply my psych major to contribute to active and exciting research! I also volunteer at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), having conversations with patients about their care experience at DHMC. In my off-terms, I have done internships through the Center for Professional Development and the Dartmouth Center for Social Impact at non-profit community clinics and research labs. Volunteering/interning at non-profit clinics has provided me with life-changing experiences and a better understanding of a very important side of healthcare that I hope to contribute more to in my future. Some of my other engagements on campus include co-chair of the Dartmouth Organic Farm Club (sub club of the Dartmouth Outing Club), DEI leadership roles, and I played for the Dartmouth Women's Rugby team for the past three years! In my free time, I love to do yoga, cook, craft, and go on hikes with friends. I also love to travel and have had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Anthropology study abroad in New Zealand, and I will be participating in the upcoming Vietnam study abroad as well. If you have any questions about pre-health or just want someone to talk to about this whole new and wild college thing, please reach out! I am super excited for this next year!
